This was such a fun day. It may be the opposite for some, but days that it rains on Warped Tour are my favourite.

  • Anonymous asked : Hey dude. Do you commonly use a flash for inside venues? Or does a fast lens work pretty decently? I'm unsure what to use to start shooting shows. Thanks!

It all depends on what the lighting situation is at the venue. In some really small venues with no lighting, I’ll use a flash, but mainly I do try and just use the given light. If you are just starting, definitely try and use a flash to get used to being at shows, composing photos and that sort of thing. Hope this helps!

  • After hours on hours of editing and sorting through images, I finally finished my gallery from Vans Warped Tour 2014. The gallery features all seven of Epitaph Records artists that were on the tour:

    Parkway Drive
    The Ghost Inside
    Survive This!
    Plague Vendor
    Every Time I Die
    Falling In Reverse
    This Wild Life

The gallery is made up with my favourite moments I captured with my cameras while on the tour from Chula Vista, CA to Denver, CO. I can’t thank Epitaph enough for providing me with this opportunity and I had an absolute blast. If you have a moment to spare, check out the gallery and let me know what you all think!

  • I really like this picture, mainly because it truly shows the sense of community present on the Vans Warped Tour. In St. Louis, Keith from Every Time I Die saw Luke and Michael of Plague Vendor carrying their gear back to the bus and lent them a helping hand.

Although they had not met prior to Warped Tour, they became really good friends throughout the tour. No matter what your musical tastes or where you’re from, Warped Tour is a place where you can develop a lot of new friendships and it’s an aspect that I enjoyed about the tour the past two summers.
